Description
Rocky Mountain Line pairs the carved band with a second, smooth and polished band that runs all the way round the ring without ever breaking. The two parts remain distinct and close together: on one side the metal left raw, with the hammer marks still visible, on the other a clean line that accompanies it all the way round. The two bands can be in the same metal, in which case the contrast is simply between rough and polished, or in different metals, adding the contrast between two colours. Handmade to order in our atelier, Rocky Mountain Line brings together the roughest and the most orderly sides of the same jewel.

The Rocky Mountain collection is born from freshly split rock. The surface of each wedding band is carved with irregular strokes, with no repeating pattern and no two faces alike, and it stays rough to the touch like stone before any working. It is a deliberately rugged-looking band, where the mark of the tool is not hidden but is the jewel itself. The worked band can be paired with a second, smooth and polished one, in the same metal or a different one, setting the raw surface beside a continuous line. Each piece is handmade to order, with a choice of stone, metal and size.
