A new jewel has two parts: the precious metal and the goldsmith’s work. If the metal is yours, only the work remains.
A tiny part of the metal is lost during melting: this is the melting loss, which we tell you in grams before we start.

The answers you need
Do I need ID?
Yes. The law requires anyone buying used gold to identify the seller and record the purchase. Please bring your identity card or passport.
Do you buy broken, odd or misshapen gold?
Yes: broken chains, single earrings, misshapen rings. It is the metal that counts, not the condition of the piece.
What about plated or gilded jewellery?
We only buy gold and precious metals with a stated fineness. If you are not sure, we can check it together in a few minutes.
Can I choose a different colour for my new jewel?
With a transformation the colour stays that of your gold, because we melt your own metal. If you want a different colour, choose an exchange: we keep your gold and make the jewel in new gold.
How long does it take?
The valuation takes a few minutes and payment is immediate. For a new jewel, timing depends on the design and is confirmed before we start.
I live in Italy: can I bring my gold?
Gold brought in from abroad must be declared at customs. Contact us before your visit and we will explain how to proceed.
