Description
Heart Crack Of Love carries the fracture through a heart. The edge of each wedding band is irregular like the margin of a crack, and on the satin surface opens half a heart formed by a fingerprint. Worn apart, each one keeps its own half; brought together, the two edges interlock and the two fingerprints once again form a whole heart, crossed by the line of the break. Handmade to order in our atelier, Heart Crack Of Love brings together two marks that cannot be repeated: that of the crack, which fits only between these two wedding rings, and that of the skin of those who wear them. Fingerprints are taken with our scanner in the jewellery shop, at the Balerna and Locarno ateliers. If you already have your fingerprint in a usable format, you can send it to us.

The Crack collection begins with a simple, powerful image: a crack. From it comes the idea that things, when they break, can also become whole again, if the two fragments come back together. Each pair of wedding rings has a jagged edge like the two sides of the same fracture, made to measure and different from all others, so that the two profiles fit only each other. Each piece of jewellery is handmade to order, with a choice of stone, metal and size.
